CO2 is the uppermost by-product of high value in use that generated during alcohol fermentation. Concentration of CO2 in alcohol fermentation vapor may higher up to more than 99%. Contents of other impurities are: 0.3% (V/V) of alcohol, 0.05% (V/V) of aldehyde, 0.03~0.04% (V/V) of organic phenol, 0.01% of ester and extremely small quantity of oxygen, therefore, high purity CO2 can be obtained through not very complicated purification.
High purity CO2 recovery and clarification devices have been used in alcohol,
beer and other industries from 1980s. Since the one-time successful start-up
of edible CO2 workshop in early 1995, which designed and constructed by Jinan
Keyu Zhanye Technology & Equipment Co., Ltd for Shengli Oil Field, our company
successfully designed high purity CO2 recovery devices for several dozens of
alcohol plants in China and abroad, and all of the plants have gained favorable economic benefits. |
